Brand New, Unused Merchandise
Our retail store selections also include brand new, unused merchandise that we purchase from local retailers. These are items that the retailers choose to no longer offer in their stores. We pay them pennies on the dollar and pass that savings along to you!
Goodwill Industries of SE Michigan is pleased to offer persons who are 60 years and older a 10% Senior discount on most items every Wednesday. This discount does not apply to sale or otherwise discounted items. Eligible customers must please notify the cashier of their desire to use the senior discount prior to their transaction being completed. Does not apply to online purchases.
Goodwill Store Policies
Refunds: Goodwill Stores does not issue cash/credit card refunds.
Exchanges: Goodwill will gladly exchange items which are returned within 10 days of purchase. All items must be accompanied by original sales receipt and have price sticker/tag attached. If you do not find a replacement item, a merchandise credit will be issued for the purchase amount and must be used within 30 days from date of issue.
“Sale” or “Clearance” items may not be exchanged.
Unpriced Goods: All merchandise must be priced before taken to the registers. Goodwill Stores does not permit employees or managers to determine pricing at point-of-sale.
Customer Holds: Due to the nature of our business, Goodwill Industries will hold your fully paid for purchase until end of the business day. Items not picked up the same day will be returned to the salesfloor at the manager’s discretion. Unpaid items cannot be held.
Returned Checks: Goodwill Stores utilizes an Electronic Check Recovery (ECR) service for all dishonored checks. Customers writing checks are responsible for all state regulated ECR fees permitted by law.
